Reformatting?

Reformatting?

Ok well i wanna reformat my laptop, i have searched google and found some tutorials but i am not sure if i trust them. So i was wondering if anyone here could help me out with it?

I suggest burning all of your most important files to a cd or dvd, however, if you have an external harddrive that's best. Then all you do, is put your Windows Installation Disk in. Next, select Install Windows and it should go through a bunch of shit, untill you get back to the BIOS, there, when it tells you to choose what Partition to install Windows to, select the current one. Then clear the partition and select it. Windows will ask you to format it, just choose quick format, and let it install.

Ok ya i got the important stuff on my external hard drive. Thanks for the help!

Delete partiion create a new one.Install windows.Dont install windows on an existing partition.Make sure the partition is NTFS not Fat32.
