Try using Internet Explorer to FTP to and from your Xbox.
Here's the address I use to FTP to my Xbox using Internet Explorer --> ftp://xbox:[email protected]
The first xbox is the username that is set in the Xbox's dashboard.
The second xbox is the password that is set in the Xbox's dashboard.
The 192.168.0.3 is the IP address of the Xbox, that is set in the Xbox's dashboard.
- These setting are found in the modded dashboard, not the MS dashboard.
Also make sure that in the dashboard the IP address is set to static and not dynamic.
If you can't connect using Internet Explorer try turning off all firewalls and other software that you think may be inhibiting you from connecting to your Xbox.
You can also try going to command prompt and typing --> ping 192.168.0.3 (or whatever is IP address your Xbox) to see if your computer can contact your Xbox by sending and receiving packets.
I hope this helps! If not, you can contact me on AIM or reply here and I'll try to help you out.
