New maps don't show up

Ok, I used to have a softmoded xbox that worked great until my dad broke my HD. Then I got a hardmoded one and was able to transfer all my data to a new Seagate HD. Now Halo 2 is not detecting any of the new maps, although they are installed in the proper directories. I used the Mappack CD to get them (which is also burned on my disk) and to make sure that everything is ok. Does anyone have an idea on how to help me?
