HCE Any good tutorial sites?

Im searching the web looking for some good 3ds Max tutorials. I was wondering if ya'll knew any good ones? I have all kurk's videos and watched them all and I did his way but the bases were a pain. Im trying to find an easier way to attach stuff to a map without welding and deleteing the faces under it and rebuilding them, if that is possible. Thanks for any help.
