SparkEdit error

whenever i try to opea .map file in sparkedit, it tells me the file may be corrupt. do i open cache or compressed .map files in sparkedit? or do i need to do something to the .map file first?

this is my 3rd tech question in a row. i am having problems. lots and lots of problems

Choose Open Cache File.

now that u have said cache files, now i need to tell u that they take forever to load. i know... problems are just jogging out my eyeballs... its the new comp i think.
