mainmenu question

is there a program where i can fully customize the main menu like in the killtrocity mappack the background is the flood in lockout and in the begginning it says killtrocity mappack

Well, not yet. But you can use Monkey terd's Mainmenu editor and Shade45's mainmenu editor in the halo 2 Apps area of the Halo 2 downlaods section. To change the titles you will need to skin them.

umm actually it's called dothalo, open your main menu in that and go to the bitmaps tag, select the bitmap you would like to change extract it open it in photoshop, paste your new image over it (make sure it's the same size afterwards as it was originally) save it as the same type of dds it is (you can find the type in dothalo above the bitmaps preview image)then inject it back into the map, it's that easy. trial and error is the best way to learn, try different pictures and colors and see what you come up with, if you think it looks good enough, release it in the downloads section, some other people might like it.
