Halo2 Sounds=illegal?

I have a question. My friend is creating a Sound fx site and I said i could extract sounds with the sound tools and i was wondering if it is illegal to host the halo2 sounds on his site. He wouldnt take credit for it just host it for download. Just looking for a yes or no its not that big of a deal.

It is copyrighted so no.
Its just as bad as posting a .dds of one of there skins, or a model, or even a map.

Yea i didnt think so
