Color and graphics problem

Here's the problem, I've seen other people play Halo, mostly on videos, anyway all of their characters are colored and the ground & sky in levels are more detailed. On my computer it only shows my player as grey so as evryone else and every level instead of more wall sky or ground detail just shows a big blob of green for grass and the wall is just one color no marks or anything. I think that is your Graphics card. Not sure if that's it but I remeber seeing something like this.

it's definitely graphix card. my bet is you have some crappy integrated graphics chip from dell that isn't quite cutting it. try and find out what sort of graphics card slot your computer's motherboard has (AGP, PCIe) so we can see if we can get a card for you.

i hope you mean advising/pointing him to a good gfx card, not buying one for him

but from what i hear this is defidently your gx card.
try setting textures to high. if the framerate drops etc., you know it's your gfx card
