Firefox Freezes

Post by KiwiBird »

When I start up Firefox it freezes immediatly. I have uninstalled many times and cleared the registry and deleted everything that was Firefox related and tried reinstalling but it still freezes no matter what. Can anyone help me? I HATE INTERNET EXPLORER.

Punctuation is your friend.

I dunno. But it sure beats Firefox and IE in my opinion... Then again, Netscape beats IE.

Interesting problem. My only suggestion would have been to uninstall, but since that hasn't worked I'd just say to try Firefox's tech support.

It could be that your firewall is looping to block it and firefox is looping to get throrugh and then it freezes.Disable anything that could affect that.Try it to install in SaveMode

I have my Firewall off usually. The SaveMode thing might work. Did you mean start my computer in safemode and install it?
