Halo CE Installation Error

1.)

WARNING: DirectX Setup failed. Halo Custom Edition requires DirectX and my not run properly. Click OK to continue.

(Note: I can run the trial version just fine...)

2.)

Halo Custom Edition setup is unable to create the directories:

(Note: I had to click ignore in between each individual error of the following)

Halo Custom Edition Setup attempted to copy the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition/redist/instmsia.exe to a directory that did not exist.

Does this mean I need HaloPC already installed or something?

Yes. You have to Have PC installed.

Yes, you need Halo PC to play Halo CE.

But after that, you can uninstall Halo PC.

...O rly? It seems so POINTLESS to waste that 20 dollars...
