halo CE-HEK questions

i downloaded HEK but i cant get to guerrilla ect. ive looked around the forum and no luck....plz gime me a vid tut or a link or just help me wit text....when i open HEK it takes me to a website wit a useless tut

What do you mean by "i cant get to guerrilla ect"? HEK won't install?

HEK won't install for me because I don't have halo custom edition. But then how come on this modded map I downloaded I can play with AI but it's not a halo custom edition map?

Respawning AI? Because the maker made the mod in CE and converted it to PC.

You do know that all the things that come with HEK are individual programs, right?

yes i no....im asking "how do i get the indavidual programs to run" i mean where do i find them to start them

The individual programs come in one big package, once you have Halo Custom you can install the HEk pack and you will get 3 programs called Guerilla, Sapien and I think tool (not sure aboutd the last one.)

Default location is Program Files/Microsoft Games/Halo Custom Edition, or something like that.

Yeah, they should be were Tural said. It's the default install path.

ok..i found the path....but it just comes to saves..like it has a folder called"vehicle" then that have 2 saves in it....where are the HEK programs

Should be in your CE folder...

You don't see Guerilla or Sapien or anything?

Maybe try posting a screenshot? You can take one using the print screen button and M$ Paint.

I think that will make things a little easier to understand and then we may stand a better chance at helping you.

ok...ill edit this once i get a pic..problem....i cant get to the print screen without a printer(wich i dont have) i have an mac wit a printer but no M$ paint ....any suggestion?

You can any image editor to a paste a picture. Just press print screen, open your image editor of choice, and paste the picture into the image editor and save. you now have a picture that you can upload to the net and show us.
