how do you open a file in MilkShape?

well, pretty much exactly what the topic said. how do you transfer a gun from halo into milkshape and then put it back in. sorry guys but i'm a total noob at this stuff

ah alright, thanks, now which gun should i take the one with the most vertex's or the one with the least? and, can anyone find a tutorial to help me use milkshape?

argh, if i do that it has like 1033 vertex's for the pistol
