Hosting error on Halo PC

Post by OdinVII »

Whenever I host a game, no one ever joins. People usually join servers within 10 minutes of them being up at most. I left my server open for an hour and no one joined. I was thinking it might be something to do with my anti-virus firewall?

So, I want to know how to make it so people can join.

any help is apreciated.

Trigger and forward the appropriate ports.
Check the manuel on how to do this.

I read everything in the manual and it doesn't talk about anything like that.

I found THIS on the internet. It says to go tot he settings and input the correct number. thier are client and server boxes. what do i put in them? it says 2302, 2303, or 80..which ones?

Open all three.
80 refers to the internet. 2302 refers to the host. And 2302 refers to the clients.

You don't have to disable the firewall. Just open the aforementioned ports.
