Nothing to do with halo but i fucked up big time

ok i have Visual Basic 2005 Express edition and C++ 2005 Express Edition and i was installing C# 2005 Express Edition and at the end of the instalation it said error and i clicked dont send error report and then it finished installing and it said error again and then i tried to open the program and it didnt open then i uninstalled it and reinstalled it then my friend told me the smae thing happend to him and now i cant open any apps thats require the .NET Framework 2.0 and he told me it was becasue of my registery files were corrupted because i didnt wwait long enough for tjem to register and he told me taht i would ahve to delete EVERYTHING off my computer or reformat my hard drive but i have 2 hard drives and i have insolence map studio on the other one and it works abut no other "new" apps on the other one dont work and i want to know if theres anything else i can do than just clear everything off my computer thanks in advance

and the error i get when i try to open a a pp that uses .NET Framework 2.0 is this: CLR error: 80004005 The program will now terminate.

www.nero.com go buy some cd's and burn your stuff to a disk and then reformat.
