halo2- lockout will not load

i know that all of you that read this was going to say to sign it...but thats not the problem. i have the origional version of h2 on my hdd and lockout willnot load on it. ive tried recopying it from the disk but it still wont load. even if i mod it and sign it doesnt work. ive ran out of ideas to what it could be.
maybe someone else know what it is?

if your disk is messed up it might not copy correctly

its not the disk. i tried coying from the disk after i recopied my backup halo2 to the hdd. one thing i didnt mention is that when i system link and the other person is the party leader, it will load normaly. one other thing is i have the map pack too but no new maps show up, but then too on system link they will play. i just did a hdd swap and now im having all sorts of problems. i thought maybe i have to install the map pack again.. for them to show up. oh and lockout never worked after i tried that uberlighting tool..

You put the new maps in your mainmenu.map right?

umm..i dont think so. i just copies c: and e: to my computer and installed evox then transfer them back.

i am so glad i have my maps on my hdd because i always use to mod the download maps and always scared of signing on with them and getting banned ive done it before good bye General Royal i had such a high rank in ghost recon 2

he saying he delted his name cuz it got banned from halo 2 then because of that he lost his Ghost Recon 2 rank
