how do i get rid of the invisible walls(barriers) of a map

i thought i saw a tut somewhere on some site but i dont remember what site. can some1 plz help me

The last time i checked(i havent been in the modding scene for a while now) we still couldnt change those pesky invisible walls.

The only is by using Punk's Hex BSP Editing tutorial, if it is even possible that way.
