My friend is trying to get The trial and keeps getting this mesage:

a promblem occured intialzing directdraw. hardware accelerication maybe disables plaese run dxdiag

I told him to Start>run>dxdiag
and it said no preblems.....

anything he should do?

okay i went to microsoft website they said crap about running dxdiag and looking at the avideo momory (?) so he did and it says N/A so i amk thinking he doesnt have one....DUDES HELP ME!!!!!!111111

well without any help from fishit over tehre i found out that he doesnt have a good (or any at all) video card...so he needs a good one and the nicest and cheapest i could find is an ati at bestbuy for about 132 bu he woul rather return the game

well like i said before he would rather return it but now i need a favor. If someone could PM me so i can test to see if my server works i would be grateful. I have that problem that noone can join because of fire wall but i unblocked it on ym firewall (2304 and 2305 cuz thats what i use instead of 2303 ans 2302) and on my router.....if this doesnt work i need to e mail microsoft, and that is when it gets enjoyable
