NEW MOD HELP

hey i deffinately believe i cood make and outstanding mod with some simple help. of course it wont be to original but i wood like to take my favorite gun from each of my favorite maps and place it on one great mod. but..i still cant get a good enough tutorial. the dothalo basics one here isnt working for and the insolence ones are vague. ya im picky but please help i want my ideas in action. i cant wait until the day i can take my time and be proud of my very own map mod

making an outstanding mod takes like a year at leas of modding. not even one out of 5 hundred mods make outstanding

From what I've seen some mods that don't even deserve outstanding are in outstanding.

I don't even see H2CE's work in there, or even ColdRush.

I don't understand how these guys select them.

Overtime.

For me, I learned almost everything through experimentation. Great time, great learning stragety. I'd consider it better than tutorials because you can design things your own way. Tuts can be a basic startup guideline, but after that, try learning yourself!

Do some googles, searches, or whatever. If it's help with the HEK, check out www.halowiki.com, or GBX.
If it's help with modify hacks, check out these forums.

For photoshop and such, try google, of course! Same with almost everything else! Good luck!

Personally, I would recommend not working to get into the outstanding section. That proves nothing, as you are working just to get a post in a special area in a forum.
