Moving a Spawn Point

What I'm trying to do is in Halo 2

Inside of Outskirts, I would like to move the spawn point of a grunt to in front of MC where he spawns in the level. I was wondering how I would find out the XYZ position of MC maybe, and then try to place the grunt in front of him

Basically, my questions are:

1)How do I find this position?

2)How do I move a grunt there?

3)How would I give the grunt AI?
