noobish question but plz help!

well im using dot halo to mod. well when ever i try using a mod i follow all the steps then i fix the code and close the map. when i try to play the map it says failed to load map. what am i doing wrong. can someone also teach me how to make mods and inject skins. ty

well i think i might have figured it out. i have to delete the patches before i can play modded maps. but can someone teach me how to make mods?

i make mods using dothalo what i do i take modded maps and i modd them the way i want and then when i get done i make ppf patch and put in the oringinal map that is not modded and then put in a ppf patch then i resign the map and then upload it to my maps in the tdata folder i got some to work and some dont work i dont know why but i will figure it out.

nojoke,,, your best bet is to remember what you ave one to the map. then use a fresh map(unmodded) and redo the mods . click fix encryption. the close map and replace wth the one on your box

fix what you type and after u close the map u have to resign the map and then you go and find the map you just resign and it will say the name off the map .map.map example turf.map.map it will say that then what you do is get rid of the last .map so it says turf.map then u go and upload it to the regular map

i can get mine to work it is that i was helping someone else and i dont have my xbox here with me i am at my dads house and i dont have it

i need to have someone get into my computer and copy my halo 2 disc on to my xbox that is what i need to do unless i can find someone that lives in missouri that can come do it for me

it is ok but i wont know how to do it i almost got there i have all the old maps like foundation and midship old maps like them i have all them on my computer i but i dont have my disc copyed on my hd

you open up a FTP progam on your computer. connect to your box. then

open E drve

goto TDATA

click on he folder with the last wo didgits 64

then in go in the c folder

then in each of the folders is maps

the first has warlock and containment

the second has turf and sanctuary

and te third has the newest 5

transfer those .maps to you comp then you have then to mods.

i have those maps on my computer i have everymap on my computer i need help with getting the halo 2 disc on my hd like i was told you have to make a halo 2 folder and put them in there and it will be coppyed so i did that and it didnt work cause my halo 2 disc if screwed up from stopping it in matchmaking and i want to copy it to my hd so i can play without the disc that is were i need help
