server LAGG u all know what i am talking about
ok now i rarely have lagg, that is unless my sister is on her aim and has several webpages open on her myspace, but its still a 3 meg connection and when i host my ded server its laggy, I know for a fact its not my computer, its a 3.2 northwood overclocked to a 3.6 still running at a cool 45 degrees celcius and 1.5 gig of corsair pro ram 200 gig western digital hdd sata abit uguru motherboard and 100 meg lan (didnt need the gig cause ill never use it) , and i have called charter about it and is all they tell me to do is reset my modem but still laggy
I don't know if your asking why, or stating thats its ok.
I love how everyone thinks they're download speed is the same as they're upload. 3mbps does not mean you have 3mbps upload as well, its more likely aroun 380k max. Even then if its cable, it can jump up and down all day long.
go to www.dslreports.com and use the test tools to see your real speed a few times during the day and watch it jump.
