I cant see text on Halo CE

I cant see text on Halo CE

My halo ce has been like this for a long time. It can see any text in the game. Iv tried just about everything. I tried reinstalling it and even reformating my computer. Please Help. And no i dont think it is my video card because I worked before for a long time.
