Trouble uploading map

I am not able to upload my map. It's under 9 megs and in winrar format.
But when I attach it it just hangs there. The cursor actually snaps back to inside my message box. It hangs about 15 minutes then nothing; before I finally give up and move on. I have "other" peopple help me by me sending map to them so they can upload for me. Any thoughts?

upload it to a free hosting site. (i.e. rapidshare.de) Although, many people complain about it sucking, it gets the job done... barely
