xbox live STILL doesn't work!

Sorry to make another post, but no one would answer my other one, I have a connexant cable modem, charter communications as an ISP, I hook the back cable from the modem up to my xbox, and enter the exact ip, gateway, subnet mask, dns server, and alternate dns server, and when I test it to connect to xbox live, it just says dns not resolved!

Can ANYONE help?!

rty it automatic...if that does not work, then call your ISP's tech support.

you have to register your mac id its on the back of the modem....if you can acces the internet through the computer do this:
power cord out
ethernet cable out
xbox ethernet cable in
power cord in(after 30 seconds)

set in the xbox dashboard eberything to auytomaticall like equinox said

Charter communications. xboxlive.com says it's an ok isp...
