How can I extract Halo's Textures for my own use?

How can I extract Halo's Bitmap Textures and convert them to TGA for my own uses??? Is there any program out for that sort of thing?

Please help as soon as possible!

You would need photoshop and the .dds plugin for it.

Erm, nah u dont get me... I dont wanna mod Halo... I want to Extract the Texture files from Halo to use them for my own purpose... In otherwords use the textures for another game...
How would I do this?

I have a program called Game Extractor but it displays all halo textures as *.unk files. Is there any tool out for properly extracting textures and if there is, is it possible to convert the textures to *.tga?
