problems with halo server

if i want open a server halo gives an error. this happened today but i did't do anything wrong. its only when i want create a game. does somebody knows how i can fix this? if i have to reinstall where can i find my save games? and can i replace them if i reinstall it?

Yes, reinstall the game. Sometimes, files get currupt. And expection happens. It did this to me a few days ago, and I couldnt figure it out. I re-installed, and it worked fine

Make sure no system files are corrupted.
Also make sure all drivers are well and hardware works well.

i know what i did. i played halo and i get to the main menu and press alt-tab. i replaced a map and then it wont work. i have the orginal of the map again and i have replaced it again but it stiil wont work. im gonna reinstall but how can i backup my save games?

You need to replace all your mapfiles with the originals off the CD. Apparently you messed up one of the map files so bad as to make it unplayable and hence the 'Gathering Exception Data' message.

yay halo works. but there is an other problem. i cant see explosions and if i shoot something at a wall or a stone the bullet get in the stone :S . how can i see the explosions again?
