Fatal Xbox problem?

Ok in my post before this one I said how my friend was installing his modchip into his Xbox. Well apparrently his dad scratched the motherbaord a little. Not much though, I saw it and it wasnt much. Well he finally finished installing it and went to turn it on. It turned on, then off, then off, then on, and then stayed on... but nothing happened. The usually green circle started flashing green and red. I dont think red is a good color. Any way to fix this? Thx.

Tornado FX isn't dead, he faked it. You may want to change that.

My friends dad was helping him install the mod chip (I dont know what kind it is). He got it from http://www.modchip.com. No it never did this before. I know this because he would have told me. Whats a bios?

bios=what xbe it reads.
xbe=xbox's exe
hacked bios lets u play non certified codes
a chip needs to be "flashed" with a bios before it can reach any of its potential.

if its a Xenium, it could be a clone/fake
idk, ur friend needs to give me more info

Dude, If you don't know what a BIOS is then you or "Your Friend" and "His Dad" need to do a LOT more research before attempting to mod an XBOX.
Try xbox-scene.com It's called fragging. (flashing red and green) and you may have killed your xbox. What ver xbox is it?
