how do i run custom maps

Download the custom map and extract/save into the Halo CE Maps folder, that is in the Halo CE Root directory.

ive done that but it still wont seem to work

When you go to create a server, scroll down to the very bottom of the list, they should be there... If not then your either not running Halo CE or you put the maps in the wrong folder.

yeah he's right you download the map extract it then copy the .map file
and put it in the "maps" folder in the halo CE directory which typically is
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps
you just right click then paste it inot the folder. simple!

i hav already extracted the maps into the map file and hav run halo ce but they dont sho up also wat is the custom maps icon supposed to look like mine has some lines and an A on it is it supposed to look like that?

Custom maps don't have an icon, I think its ?, But still I don't know why it doesn't work.

What maps did you try to install?

i downloaded pipe dream, red feather ranch, fox island ive just downloaded a winrar upgrade thats seemed to hav helped but i cant see if i hav the maps cuz its searching for updates and its taking long

Just let it do that, and let it update...The newest patch is 1.6, I recomemd getting it, as you won't see severs that are running on this patch.

i hav the 1.6 upgrade and ive been letting update for like 30 mins ys it taking so long should i try rebootin my computer

Take a screenshot of your Halo CE Maps folder and post it here (Upload to another site like http://www.photobucket.com)

Maybe you have them in folders when you extracted.
