ded server halo PC name help!!!!

I see lots of dedicated servers, but i want mine to be named this:
! Assault

but for some reason it says invalid name and its name becomes "Halo" and i see plenty of ded servers like that up and running. wtf is going on?

Post the init file contents here. The name you would put would be;

sv_name "! Assault"

Try that, if that doesnt work reply

Try using Yomama's Halo Dedicated Init file maker. Check the utilities section.

thanx for the help, but also, is it possible to put a space in front of it so it would be at the very top for those who view servers alphabetically?

I think so.. try
sv_name "( gap ) ! Assualt"

I havent tried, but that should... If not put a charactor like = or some thing at the start that will make it go to the top if the list.
