First model! Tommy Gun! Updated!!!! Now with AVI

Post by h2modmaster »

Continuation of my first model. Check the AVI for best viewing!

If anyone could put it in the game(not sized right), it would be much appreciated (I can't because old GFX card and I get errors) Waterworks preferably but I don't care.

Too boxy, and it looks like the top part near the barrel is missing. Try to use a few reference pictures.

Ya I made the whole model without reference, just went of memory. I'm upgrading it now. (Can anyone put it ingame?)

Doesn't look very accurate. Missing details and not scaled correctly.

Far too boxy. Disproportionate. Bland. Lacks any sort of detail or accuracy to the real thing. Find reference pictures and modeling tutorials and start over.

Also, btd wins the thread.

Please DON'T bug me with questions on how to do basic modding. The tutorials are there for a reason, although I will help if you absolutely need it. Also DON'T ask me about Halo 2 modding, my Xbox isn't even modded.

What specific parts could use work? (Circle in MS paint?)

Looks like something off Goldeneye 64. This would be 1337 10/10 h4x in 1997. Now it's just decent. Oh, and Thomposon = Tommy-gun.

I await this new model with much eagerness. ;)

Even if a model comes out bad, keep at it, you'll learn as you go from experimenting and the C&C people give you.

Thanks, I'm not immature like some people when it comes to getting critism. Even if I think its good, it doesn't mean it is. Some people just don't get that.

Well back on modeling... I'm pretty much done but I have to figure out how to smooth out the handle, and there are not many Anim8or tutorials out there. This could take awhile. Heres 1 of the pics so far. (Please ignore the hastily thrown together textures.)
