Target Practice

My newest map, Target Practice, Is finally Finished. I started in the summer, and it is now done.

NOTE: This was a project that Malolo and I were working on. He said i could post it because i thought of the whole thing and basicly made the map you see. He made the stuff for the map :D. Project = Credit given to 2 people. Im not ripping tags.

Oh yeah. This map is for Mutliplayer LAN only. This map DOES NOT sync over the internet.

Idea: Andrew_b

Description: You have been called to go to battle. Yet before you go, you must go through a number of trainings. It is day one and you have your first task. You must choose four weapons and practice your aim. you may go as many times as you like, the targets will keep coming. You must go through all 6 floors to complete your task, yet you can go multiple times. Have fun, and keep practicing.

Modifications: Assault rifle, pistol. (edited the error angle). Ammo (works for all weapons).

Bugs: since lag is high in the armory, you must walk towards a weapon set in order to see the weapons. 1 set isnt used.

Tell me how much you liked it. I may make an update because this map has some bugs (minor ones, yet they can get you stuck in some places [Doors closing but not opening])

You should put a button on every door. Slide too close to one side while shooting and the door opens? Uh-oh, you didn't notice? When you've eliminated all the targets and go to the door expecting it to open, it doesn't budge.

Also, the rocket launcher does basically nothing but let you commit suicide. :P It has no effect on the targets

Overall I like the map though. Pretty creative, and pretty fun (except those targets aren't very satisfying. They barely even do anything when you hit them :cry: )

ok there is like a crazy error.

The Rocket Launcher isnt even reference in the scenario..

and yeah im going to say this is unfinished because i should edit the scripts to make them continuous instead of working only 1 until you finish the map.

lol cool i like it.

change the target model to a grunt model then it would be fun hehe. im not saying the targets are bad im just saying it would be fun shooting flying grunts :lol:

But shooting an unanimated grunt takes the fun out of it :cry:

Add grunts that flail around the target practice room. Now that would be funny.

This wasnt supposed to be a funny map.

I wanted this to be as close to a Bungie map as it could.

(Malolo ruined it with the last elevator, the animations are like it is crashing haha)

And yeah, don't add grunts, the targets are just fine.

Hmm...i plan to finish this map before christmas and release it on halomaps.

Excellent creativity, I loved how the elevators are, the armory is cool but laggy, and the box thing to open the door is just cool.I couldnt never get my doors to stay open but im working on it. You have alot of potental...Keep up the good work.
