HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Well it's actually a short but funny story of how i got to this point.

I had been modding for like a year and beach_assault was the only map i worked on, but at a certain point i felt like i wanted to move on. I tried more advanced things to no avail. Now i feel like i know less than I used to, but anyways that brings me to why I am releasing the final now, so late.

I had this version done for a while, but it I was not quite happy with it. I had almost everything i wanted except for a few small issues and I wanted to add more weapons and stuff. But then my computer randomly deleted large chunks of my harddrive, leaving me only with the actual .map file. Now after a while of trying to work on new projects I have decided that I want to put this out.

Features:

Bots (with all different types of guns strategically distributed)
Supports all types of gameplay
new added sunken sub for one team's base
cooler looking beach front
BAR assault rifle

I might come back to halo modding for a little bit now that i have a break from school, but what i really want to do is make my own game. I've got a lot of work before I learn to do that though, but if i ever make a good one i'll be sure to post it here.

Holy crap! I can't believe it! I downloaded the beta a while ago and I thought it was one of those no final maps. OMG I love this map! Great job releasing the final!

The mod was good, BUT I didn't like how if you were blue, you'd spawn in the red base at times and vice versa.

Make a new AI map. Make 1 in a city wer the Crips and the Bkloods are fightin. Make Uzis and Macs and sh**. And make gang member skins. And if you aint no, Crips wear blue, and Slobks(wich are bloods) wear red.

aaaawesome mape i love the team AI because team AI is the best man I swear because you know that many ppl cannot play on halo at once and so that is what makes it fun also dude make the AI smarter because they walk up to you and they stand a while and then fire.

Yea dat sh** is weird. But give red team some snipers and shotys, and blue team rockets to make it all fair, ohh and give some AI B.A.R.s, also put some of The Ghost's turrets in, they pimp.

ok thats fine and all but have u fixed the problem with the bots where when they underwater they all jsut huddle together making it easy to win if u are on blue?

u kno the problem with the beach assault series is that all of them have the same internal name
it makes it hard 2 join a game on it cuz u dont kno wich one it is

Holy crap, i dled this like a really long time ago i havent seen it in awhile.I thought the map was dead like all the other really old maps!.Good job though.
