Someone Lock Me (Showdown.map - no longer supported)

Yup, the Draco is nearing completion.
As of now it doesn't fly, but it is a vehicle (that just sits there as a brick)
THE MAP DOES NOT HAVE THE DRACO VEHICLE IN IT
You must spawn it with Dev. k?
The Draco you see on the map is a piece of scenery. Use it to explore the ship.
I will constantly update the attached file with my new progress.
MAP SIZE: 20Mb
RAR Size: 5mb
::UPDATE::
Draco is now there! (look underneath where you spawn, may want the deathless dev command to get down there...)
Also, fixed a few things, and removed the trees.
I'll get pics in a minute, just gotta get on halo...
I'll have to convert the rest to JPEG, this took too long to upload and it ended up getting resized (stupid not-full version of FRAPS...)
* The Draco does fly right now, but backwards. I'll be fixing it up in Minnesota.

o and dude you got any halo ce models/tags or halo pc models iv allready sapped this website off all there models can you give me some my xfire is ghost222 o and once again very nice map ya got there

I don't have a problem, and neither does anyone who tested it.
ARe you sure you're extracting the map from the rar?
SO many people put zips in their map folders and say the maps don't work...

I have unrarred and unzipped millions of times, I didn't do anything diffrent this time, it just doesn't show up. (I even downloaded it twice! and rewrote after the first time didn't work, it's not in a subfolder in the /map folder, so I don't get how it doesn't work)

Hmm, well, sometimes maps don't show up if you have certain other maps.
Try it without any other maps in your maps folder (ANY, that includes the standard ones)
And, repeat after me everyone:
"Even Gods make mistakes"
I really screwed up this time:
And twice!
First mistake:
I never made the driver seat on the Draco powered. No fly if no powered.
Second mistake:
You won't believe this one! I've made this same mistake with all my vehicles!
IT'S BACKWARDS!!
Oh, and btw, I'm gonna upload the newest version with the backwards-flying Draco.
CURRENT BUGS:
Model = Same as all other versions
Scenery = " " " " " " " " "" " "
Vehicle:
1) Flies backwards
2) Still haven't put in my revolutionary hog-holder (I'll explain it later)
3) You're gonna have to jump off the map to get to the flyable Draco, I suggest you use dev commands and, err, cheat and make deathless your player!!!1oneone
So, within, hmm, 5 minutes of this post you will be able to get the new one.
EDIT:
Fixed the orientation, just need to check everything and make sure it's all good.
Last build had the collision model slightly off, but I think I fixed it.
In the last build, the physics were WAY out of wack, I have to work on that (I'll make it just like the longsword in the next build)

I'm about to upload a new version:
draco_test.map
It uses the Silent Cartographer's BSP and the Draco actually flies reasonably well. (it just goes straight though and expect it to crash a lot [the vehicle])

Help?

You need to move the camera position farther, its in the ship when i get in.

1) I know, I've never made camera tracks, so I'm using the airplane_large or whatever. I'll try and see what I can do about it.

Hallways = Those are pretty much the only ones missing.
You see through them because there isn't anything there. Unlike most mappers + modelers, I used a different technique. My model isn't sealed - at all. The collision modelis completely seperate and is only a rough low-poly recreation of the actual visual model.
Also, other areas have intersecting regions I need to fix.
Still, can't upload the newest one = problem!
