This is Desert Island. this map isn't new, but its fun with 16 players

Anywho, llamaboy772, do you mean real weapons and not n00b weapons? A lot of people think this is a n00b map that deserves to be put in the recycle bin. What most of those people don't realize is that I made it with the intention if it being a n00bish map... At the time, Halo CE was at its peak, and people were releasing boxmaps (virtually the same as each other) on the rate of 1-2 a day, so I decided to release this map as my entry to the n00bish-maps category

BTW, the tree was an unused plant from Beaver Creek H1, and the ground texture is a 64 x 64 solid yellow bitmap. To get the horizon that stretches forever (which nobody had ever done before), I set the fog opaque color of the sky tag to the same color as the fog tag, set the sky fog opaque start distance at 200, the opaque distance at 90000, and in the fog tag set the screen layer count to zero. For such a "rubbish" map, a lot of thought went into the 45 minutes it took to make

I saw no spam. And yah in desert_island you start with a flamethrower, AKA n00btacular weapons. I don't see how anyone couldn't like this map, it's soooooo much fun!!! Sometimes people forget that a map doesn't have to take 1 Quintillion years to make for it to be fun (and yes Quintillion is a number)
