Its actually called Halo and you have to kill all of the enemies around the marines to have the pelican come and pick up the marines.Skynethalo wrote:Cool Campaign i've played it, but there are some bugs and glitches,

And it is up at Halo2.filefront.com, but I saw that bungie has seen the "we need help" news post on CMT web site, they are trying to help. but I want a new gfx card
I want to see how well made this mod is, not just by seeing the cool vehicles and weapons, ( and seeing lots of crazy colors, because of my gfx card.) But hey can't wait for CMT to give us the MP map they are working hard on. I think they are working on it.
Yeah, ScottyGee helped me out. d40 download is a zip with d20 in it, LOL - I just got the full FileFront pack.M4573R51337 wrote:It's up on halomaps.org if you still havent DLed.
You guys mentioned you were working on bugs - can we expect an autopatcher and not having to redownload 250MB behemoth maps?

You have to kill the Hunters without using explosives to pick up the gun. It's not very useful anyways, maybe if it had a hud and a model it could be a cool new (intentional) weapon.mod master wrote:I couldn't pick it up on the PoA or The Silent Cartographer or Truth and ReconcilliationV0Lt4Ge wrote:You can, actually. You can get the gun if the Hunter dies in an explosion. In the Maw, when you see the first Hunter, I used one of the Battle Rifle grenades, and unintentionally set off a bunch of Plasma Grenades on the floor, and blew up both the Hunters. At first I couldn't find the gun, and I though what people said about the whole explosion-no-picky-uppy thing was true. Then I looked around a couple feet away from the Hunter, and found the gun.
The explosives don't destroy the gun, they just knock it away, making it much harder to find, even though it's hard enough finding to begin with because it's invisible. Some will love it, some will hate it, but it's very fun. On some levels I use it all the way through.
It would be cool if you could pick up the cannon and the shield. A dual-wield sort of. You pick up the combo, zoom with the viewscreeen on the gun, and melee with the shield, complete with all the sounds of the H2 Fuel Rod Gun, but the melee sound for the shield-lunge may as well stay. Since you can't crouch with it as of right now, crouch could be implimented as ducking away behind the shield and pressing forward with it.
And then for the gun, it could be a reloadable Covenant weapon, like the Needler, or the H2 Fuel Rod Cannon. It has that big drum of fuel rods that charge the gun hanging off the side, and since it's a radioactive power source, and unlimited ammo to begin with, it could simply have higher longevity than the other weapon clips, evening out the fact you barely ever come across Hunters, that way Hunter cannons you pass don't go to waste.
You finish off a drum of fuel rods, kill another Hunter, rip the battery off his cannon, slap it on yours and click it in. And to give the depleted, radioactively unstable batteries a use, after you use all the power, you could hold it as a Tertiary weapon, like Tiamat's C4. Something you can't switch out for other weapons, but you carry it along with you. When you find yourself in a sticky situation, you could crack the battery's magnetic shielding case and then throw it like a grenade or plant it like a charge. The failsafe shorts out, the fusion core melts down, and the fuel rods detonate, like when you kill an FRG-wielding Grunt in the original Halo campaign, and the gun 'splodes. Funky.

Has anyone noticed that saving a checkpoint and then selecting continue in the UI doesn't do anything?
Also, I just got a checkpoint of me blowing up and it won't revert to an earlier one. Yay.
Teh sounds cuts in and out and is not a framerate issue, especially the music. Halo PC does not do this to me ever.
