PC/Xbox: Intermediate- Xbox Controller As A Windows Gamepad

Step #1:Constructing The Device-

You will need the following materials:1 Small (S) Xbox Controller, 1 USB Cable, Black Electrical Tape

WARNING: THIS WILL MAKE CONTROLLERS UNUSABLE ON THE XBOX, PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN EXTRA CONTROLLER FOR THE XBOX.

Start by cutting the part of the wire that is about 12" away from the controller, then you strip 1" of rubber coating from the wire, then pull back the shielding wires, after that, tear off the aluminum foil that is over the wires, now look at the wires, you should see the following wires:GREEN, BLACK, RED, WHITE, COLORLESS (Unshielded), and YELLOW, cut out the YELLOW wire, as it is extra and will not be needed.
Now strip the GREEN, BLACK, RED, and WHITE wires. Now cut the FEMALE end of the USB cable off, it should be the one that DOES NOT look like it is input.
At about 12 inches from the male connector, cut 1" of coating off, and do the same with the shielding and foil, and strip the GREEN, BLACK, RED, and WHITE wires. twist the GREEN wire together with other GREEN wire and put electrical tape around the twisted together wires , and do the same with the rest of the wires, then put electrical tape around the group
of taped wires, and put electrical tape where there was rubber coating, and put some electrical tape around the pulled-back shielding, and on to step #2.

Step #2:Installation-

Open the rar and run the installer, follow its instructions and after it is done installing, plug in the controller and ask it to find the software automatically, then when a second hardware installer shows up do the same with it, and when it says it is ready to use unplug the controller and plug it back in, then run the setup utility that was installed to test the controller, if it was successfull in working unpack the the folder in the rar and place it on the desktop, then run the program that was in the folder you unpacked and start halo.

right joystick- look around/mouse
right joystick click- zoom
a button- jump
b button- melee
x button- activate/pick up weapons/reload
y button- switch weapons
left trigger- throw grenade/right click
right trigger- fire weapon/left click
white button- switch grenades
black button- toggle flashlght
