Alright, since all of you seem incapable of searching, I will have to teach you.
First we will start off by opening out web browser. This may be for you Internet Explorer or Firefox (Those are the major ones) Now to open this "Web Browser" we will double click on the icon.
Woah there silly n00b! That isn't the Internet Explorer icon! This is what it looks like:
Now we will go to the Address bar and type 'www.google.com' without quotes. -
This is a wonderful site which solves everything from your simple household problems to world hunger!
Now let's put something we want to find in the box in the middle (we'll use Halo Map Tools for an example)-
Now click Google search.
Now sometimes what you want will be the first thing and sometimes not. Such as this-
No, no n00b! Don't cry! Look down the page and you will see a download for HMT.
Sometimes it doesn't even end up on the first page. I've found good stuff on the 5+ pages!
Tips:
REMEMBER!!! Search engines search in keywords
This means it won't search the words so they are connected.
Example: You search Halo Map Tools, you might get "Halo is a c00l game guyz! The map in the begning is soo crooll! DO you know any good power tools?" This is most likely a forum of n00bs.
Now if you wanted to search it as a phrase you would put it in quotation marks. So you would search "Halo Map Tools" and you might get something like "Halo map tools download here!"
Part 2!!!
Using the Halomods search function.
Now sometimes you've searched on google for a good 30 minutes and can't find anything you may want to come to Halomods to not post, but to use the search feature. Now go to http://www.halomods.com/forums/search.php
Input your search thingy and click search.
You may look in awe and think "Wow, 245 pages!?!? I'll never find it!!! Igeuss 1'll g0es sp4m hal0m0ds 4 it LOOLL" WRONG. There is another little option that is similar to using quotes. Click the little "Search for all terms". This will make your search a little bit more specific. To get a little bit more specific, mess with the options at the bottom of the search page to get a more accurate result.
