As I said in your other tutorial, be careful in regedit. If you don't know what you are doing, fdon't use regedit. There is a huge chance you could damage your computer badly.

dude, messing up IE wont mess up ur comp, it doesnt have to have IE to run

in the registry you can configure that winows shludn't load and things like that

regedit is not just for changing the speed of internet explorer....

In regedit you can do things to your computer which are irreversable.

Actually Internet Explorer is embedded in alot of Windows applications, so if you screw it up it could be pretty detrimental (eg: these applications could cease to function properly).

i havent tried it, and i dont think anyone will want to
afterthe things have been saying about it possibly destroying ur comp

you can test it by attempting to download 3 or more files at the same time. It works for me

when i try to do this windows gives me a popup saying registry editing has been disabled by my administrater, which is odd because this is MY computer.....any one know how to fix this?

yes.

Open any folder (doesn't matter) and go to:

Tools>>Folder Options...

Once there, click:

View

Scroll down the Advanced settings menu and find the one labeled:

Hidden Files and Folders

now check the one called:

Show Hidden Files and Folders

Click:

Apply

And you should be done
