HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

a lot of people cant post or take screen shots. this gets on EVERYONE'S nerves, for no one will download a pictureless mod. mods dont delete this, instead sticky it.

HOW TO TAKE SCREEN SHOTS

1. Open a halo and go to your level and do whatever you want
2. when your ready to take a screen shot, press "Print Screen|sysrq" next to scroll lock and pause|break.
3. Exit out and open up MS paint (microsoft paint) and press ctrl+v (or edit paste) and your pic will pop up. save as a jpg.

HOW TO POST SCREEN SHOTS

1. Upload your pic to a website, like Imageshack
2. go onto the page with the pic you posted and right click the photo and go all the way down to "Properties"
3. Click it and go to "Address (URL)
4. Highlight and copy it.
5. Open up your mod in files.halomods and when you post your mod paste the url into the text. highlight it and hit the "Img" tag button.

Should look like this: HOW TO UPLOAD PICS TO HALOMODS (AN ALTERNITIVE)
1. Take your screen shot, post your mod on files.halomods along with your mod. Now go to the button "Add an attachment" and more options should be loaded on the bottom.
2. For the filename, click browse and browse your computer for your screen shot of your mod.
3. add a fil comment if you want. when your done hit "add attachment" next to the file comment box and congratualtions! you uploaded a pic!
4. repeat as many times as neccesary with different screen shots.

This is great that you posted something like this but... Do you really think retarded n00bs would comprehend anything of this some of them cant even walk in halo!

find the program Fraps. it encodes straight to avi everything you do when u press a hotkey. then rencode it in windows movie maker

thats all i ahve to do is get fraps and the windows one and bobs ur uncle i can make maovies with halo cool thanks

ever since mac posted this there have been like 3 threads asking about screenshots. i mean i knew that these n00bs are stupid but holy shit. im really just posting so this thread will get kicked back up to the top of the forum for a little while at least. its a good tutorial but there will always be stupid n00bs that aren't even smart enough to read a thread that is called DONT DELETE- HOW TO TAKE AND POST SCREENSHOTS.
