here is what i type in the .bat, you can put it all in one batch file command like so:

tool.exe model scenery\ramp
tool.exe collision-geometry scenery\ramp
pause

this will make it so that the .bat or batch file will execute those two commands.

uh dude in notepad you gotta save the "file type" as all files and name the file (something).bat
if you cant figure thatt out, then dont use the batch file at all, just do it through the command prompt

PS does anyone have any idea why my collsion model would show up in sapien (just like the video showed) but then have no collision in halo?

Ive followed the tuts - I'm walking through my scenery.. I'm not getting the collision working at all!!! - all the compiles are NOT giving me any errors - so Im assuming they're ok.

What's the bext resolution in viewing the tuts? Im running 1280x1024 and the tuts are kinda fuzzy... I could be missing somethign out or mis-typing something...

How about a screen by screen of the key points like what to name things and where to place things... and also the compile screens...?? (screen outputs) - basically the video tuts but in document form..

I can say nothing beats a good written tut with pictures....

If an expert could lend me a hand I'd be really grateful... :D

nodes are easy there just and object with "frame" before it's name also you must have one main node but as for markers... I have no idea.

ok this is what u do....create a text file, then rename it as tool.bat... (make sure ur making it in the HaloCE root directoryI. if it doesnt convert go into the text file and go to file\save as, then under whet to save it as, go to all files or all formats or w/e. the type in for the name tool.bat. then it shoud convert.

what he typed in for the first one was

tool.exe model scenery\ramp

and for the second

tool.exe collision-geometry scenery\ladder
pause

Hmm...maybe your model is not attached to a frame or it is not in the physics folder? Make sure you followed the tut exactly.

First of all, your physics folder should be in the 'base' folder. Also, the jms file in the physics folder should be named collision_geometry just like the model.
