(Mod)Tundra ALPHA

Well, I had the idea of this mod a long time a ago (like a year) and just now I'm putting that idea into action.

so here's the low-down

ALPHA---Current
new & more scenery
new ground textures
aurora in the sky

Beta
moved around scenery
new environment textures
weapon mods

Final
skins scexy shader mods
more weapon and vehicle mods
mb more scenery
edited lightmap

made with love on a mac(yes to move stuff up n down hold down control)

DL stats
map is in a .zip
there is a .pff for the bitmaps and a .ppf to undo the tundra skins
download is at filefront, because Hmods hates me whenever I try to upload something

very nice textures... did you make them or PMI from another map?


also, how do you plan on editing the lightmap on a mac? i've never been able to save it correctly...

(Note: I'm referring to the days where basically there were a "big three" of modding: Me, Halo_Addict, and Lambda/Archangel. We since have moved on, but Arch and I have come back a bit with Ragnarok V3 and this.

thanks for all the good comments guys.

To timmy42, I plan on editing the lightmaps and cubemaps(idk sounds fun) with Eschaton 7 (mb even the bitmap demo right now if I can inject a DDS). Also the textures are a mix, some are mine, some are shader mods.

to Paul, this is the latest version...=D even more modded than my current BG and bitmaps

I'll probably fool around in some HMT and Eschaton while watching Cowboy Bebop

wow I didn't know eschaton 7 would give you the opportunity to import those image types... if it can, I can't wait for it to come out lol...

well, i've done DXT4/5 before with HMT, they're just like DXT1...

but yea cubemaps are weird also...

Which tag is that in what map for what version? It does enable on mine on the ones I've tested.

that was the PR cubemap, and in demo, but I tested and the same thing happens in Full.

That's very odd. Using the version that should've been uploaded it loads. You are using the bitmap demo right, not an internal beta?

I am not using the bitmap demo, thinking it was the same as what I already had.
