[Mod] Super Grenade Mod [UPDATED]:H3 Drainer

This took quite awhile but it was well worth it.
I now present to you:
My
Super Grenade Mod!
This fun little mod includes:
Force Grenades (Bursts with an outward force of energy instead of an explosion).
Energy Drainer (It shoots out a draining field in every direction for 3 seconds).
Mortar Launcher (Fires an extremely powerful mortar that makes a giant plasma explosion).
UPDATED: The Energy Drainer is now more Halo 3 like.

Good looking mod, you've got my dl. And try to avoid BG mods, although I myself don't have anything against Blood Gulch, some people do.
By the way did you use Archangel's (aka as Lambda at Halomods) projectile spawning grenade tutorial(probably called needler nade tutorial) because if so someone finally used my tutorial. But if not then excellent job, I'm probably gonna look at what technique you used to make the drainer grenade, and I might fool around to see if I could make it blue.

No, in fact I had found a needler nade template map lying around on my Hard Drive.

drat, oh well.
Anyways, may I suggest using
Code: Select all
effects\explosions\steam explosion
^ can be found in D40(The Maw)
instead of
Code: Select all
characters\floodcarrier\effects\body destroyed
I think steam explosion has less models to perfect. I ended up using it in Nightshade instead of floodcarrier body destroyed.
Also D40 has alot of garbage spawning tags( garb tags can be swapped with other tags so that way they can spawn weapons, projectiles, and other stuff)so check it out.

erm... im having a little problem with it... i do the usual with the .ppf but when i start a halo game, halo crashes....

Nice update, also you might want to mod the mgs2 of the projectile to make it blue, instead of just editing the contrail. Also what weapon do you have the floodcarrier death spawning? I couldn't look at the meta.
