Mods for Mac should be placed here. All posts must have pictures and a mod to download. Use PPF always, unless the map is rebuilt.

thats not entirely true...i made the paintball night...a max converted it...but i still made it (oh yeah paintball night is also mac able too.

Yes, the mod lives!

I'm glad so many people still like this, I'm thinking of updating it to make the tank a c dropship and making the flashlight cause an EMP charge, but both are very annoying to make work and seem to bug out for no reason every now and then.

You think I should do that? If so, which one first?

i think you should go for the vehicles first. I knew someone who tried to do an EMP gun like thing, but he could not get it to work at all.

y are there no good mods comin no more (i now ur gonna say make one urself(just like att EMT))
Alternative: therez tons of n00b modders how are learning and all we otheres just gotta go on with halo 3?

This mod was reallll fun and a real 10/10!

but then...

after a while of playing there were just... no more elites left.
this kinda bumped it down to a 9/10, but hey, thats still fantastic.

edit: I have the respawn turned on at 60 seconds.
if i turn it off will the elites start to finally respawn?

Respawning elites would mean that the elites would have to spawn in upright vehicles, which I don't like because infantry combat is much more dynamic. There are also some odd bugs associated with using the itmc to spawn such as cloaked vehicles or units, etc...

The main reason the EMP gun wasn't working was because I wanted a nice effect. I either had the effect I wanted or the damage I wanted. I got as far as perfect effects, then later a never ending tank spew that hurt the elites but not me.

As for vehicles, whenever I try to change the scorpion into a c-dropship, be it metacopies in HHK or meta injections through HMT, or moving it with Sparkedit PC, the map almost always loaded and the tank always disappeared, and there was never a dropship in its place. Global switching didn't work either, and I'm basically out of ideas, so if anyone has some idea, PM me.

Also, I've been thinking of using the Pulse Generator explosion effect from c40, if anyone knows what the tag for that is, that'd be great.

us mac Modders have been trying for a long time to get CE stuff even working with mac's. It's nice to see some models and stuff for the mac mods.
