THE QUARRY (sidewinder)

i need somebody to help skin on this mod so if your interested let me know.

heres whats different
  • you play as a marine
  • blizzard conditions (snow,wind,fog)
  • frag nades are now flash nades
  • vehicles can be destroyed
  • all weapons moved off map and up to top floor "weapons cache"
  • all hogs moved to "garage"
  • added teleporter to front of base as well as flag, and gun turret
  • added a couple other teles including a secret one that transfers you to a lifepod high up...(i just threw this in at the last second for fun, i will add some turrets or sniper rifles later)

heh, i think i used your tutorial for the destructible vehicles :D

hahaha secret powers.
actually HMT .75, HHK, Eschaton .3, and for the vehicle/weapons placement and teles spark edit.

im a begginer modder and only know how to change projectiles and stuff

Cool stuff on a Mac, but it's like a lot of those generic PC "let's place everything in one spot" mods. Glad to see that we're at least progressing on OS X! In two months I expect no excuses of "we can't do it on a Mac!" Chop chop, slaves.

thanks guys! i just moved in to my new place so i wont have internet for a while, which means ill be working on the map more. ill try to fix all the glitches.

macs have the better software...just most people use pcs which more and more people are going to macs...be lucky you have a mac...my pc crashed once because of hmt3.5

I've used my mac for a year and had three kernal panics. I've run bootcamp for less than 24 hours total and had a blue screen. On the other hand...directX is a major proprietary graphics engine that locks games into Microsoft, as does the big push of the .Net Framework for developers. (developers, developers, developers!) The only advantage I can think of over PC in the modding world is importing new models into the regular game as opposed to remodelling with exactly the same number of verts and indicies.

Interesting mod. Still could use a little something.
