Haha pretty sick, but next time try to make a better render of masterchief, to make him look more realistic, here is a tutorial: http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=57088

Thanks, I know my Master Chief doesn't look very realistic so that tutorial should help me. The only problem is that I am using Cinema 4D and not 3ds Max, so I might have some trouble following some parts of it.

I'll give it a go anyway, thanks.

*Sorry for putting it in the wrong section and thanks for moving it.*

his left arm, where the wrist meets the arm, it looks weird, and flat.

I think the wrist looks flat because of my lighting. It might also just need to be rotated a bit.

It's the hand bone dragging the forearm with it.

Yes.
The hand is quite clearly the issue here.

after taking a quick look through the 3ds max rendering support topic, i found out that quite alot of people have trouble when rigging the fingers/ hands. they either look like rubber, are flat, skinny, blocky, messed up, and incorrectly uvwed. it seems to me that you can be falling victim to this "MC hand rigging" "curse" as i would call it.
