First of all, I would like to say that I am the worst bump mapper out there and have no clue what to do. Second... I dunno. I got a copy of max 7 from my uncle and decided to figure some stuff out on materials and they are exactly like halo 2 shaders, so it's pretty easy. Here's an assault rifle that is a victim of my work. I could get this in-game as it is right now if I wanted to, I just need some beta guineas.

It's easy to say when you've had as much experience with max as you have, but I've had it for like... 9 days.

Also, that doesn't look metal at all.

Because its the reflection. You guys he just got 3ds max he doesnt know wat hes doing give him a chance.

i never knew the assualt rifle was plastic (sarcasim) Horible....it looks like burnt plastic not metal oh wait it would just be red if it was metal
