(pics) Overkill mappack

Okay, here's the deal im planning on making a mappack (just started today)
heres a few pics of what ive made so far (mainmenu-wise)

can ya tell its a very very early beta? lol
maps that i plan to have (ill get permission):
AI wars (containment) status= permission GRANTED
gravity gun (coagulation)status = permission GRANTED
soccer mounds (burial mounds)status= permission ANSWER PENDING
LongliveSP (headlong) status = permission ANSWER PENDING
A secret mod for you to find out later.... ANSWER PENDING
and maybe ill find a few more.

My only beef with it is that I spent a long time downloading Killtrocity 2, and most of the maps you mentioned are already on that map pack. I'll probably not download it unless it's mostly original map pack content.

Other than that it looks good.

Why must nearly all mappacks after Killtrocity have a name that the announcer in Halo 2 says after a certain amount of kills in a row?

Rofl.

/me goes to make Double Kill Mappack.

Personally, I think the main text for the menu sucks. It's terribly hard to read and hurts my eyes. The gametypes screen doesn't exactly look the greatest either (the graphic for it). As Chad said, Killtrocity already has a few of those maps. I'd suggest making the included maps more original, or this won't go very far.

You could even consider modding all the maps yourself (one mod for each level), and releasing an entire mappack of your own work.

me and one other person are making 48 brand new maps for our mappack. jsut us 2. we still needs ppls.


the main menu (ontopic) looks ok, but it seems like you are jsut making a bad ripoff of the killtrocity mappacks. may i suggest, new colors? maybe, Crimson to fit the text color?

Actually if I remember right there was a Killtactular Map Pack way before Killtrocity Map Pack.

interesting point. i was about to name it killing spree :P lol

and btw itll maybe be a few more original maps, k?

EDIT: yeah i guess i could change the colors (isnt really good at mainmenus)
the problem with the colors is the fact that no blue filter = backround of killtrocity
EDIT2: the sequel (if it launches) will not be anything accociated with the announcer, lol
