[wip]-spartan lazer

now i know somone else was doing one of these but i started making this model a few days before him possibly a week but didnt show mine as i didnt think it would be worth showing untill now i still have a lot of work to do but my model is basicly detailed and skinned i plan on making it better and putting this into halo ce and convert for pc as well.

i still have to pix a few uw wraps i know that am in the process of doing that now i do intend on addmin more detail but not to much other wise the mod it will be in would lag.

very nice are you almost finished cause i couldnt tell the difrence between the real thing and the picture. I only figured it out by the symbol in the corner. Good Job

yeah im nearly done just wanna add more detail fix some flaws in the uvw and add a bit of smoothing groups.
id like some advice and constructive crit as well from some of the more experiecnced modelers so i can figure how to improve this is my first ever plane model so i need to know where i can improve at.

I don't like the texture and I seriously doubt you have been working on this for a week before the other guy =\. Looks like all you did was use the image refrence psted a few days ago modled it quickly and threw the same bitmap on it as the picture.
Not very orignal =\. Atleast mine will have a coustom texture =\.

Looks great, after looking at it, I think it may need a teency bit more detail.
Looks amazing, I smell a H3 mod.

actuly i have just thought it wouldnt be a smart idea saying that id seen the h3 pics before alot of people.......
have your doubts but i know who is right and i aint the one wrong.

i was merely pointing out i had started this model before the other guy and didnt want to be flamed for making a model and being called a copycat and fyi i didnt come here saying wtf and all that crap so drop the attitude either give advice on how i can get better or gtfo out of my thread.

yeah i know but ive heard thers two variations the green tinted version is marines the more grey version is spartans version.
i just wanted to make a model using a reference picture.
saw the spartan laser and thought it might be nice to see what i can do.

fix those messed up faces on the grip area. they bug. you also need to add details. it's pretty lacking.

this is awsome. im my mod i would use rasillon's more than doom's. i like rasillons because it looks better period

Who says they would let you?
Anyway, I like Dooms because his is more custom, Rad's is more of a trace than a completely custom weapon. Scooby's SL is the best IMO
