AKM\AK-47 (updated) M4A1

some of the models for ambush are a little low on detail so i've had some free time so i redid the AK-47, and i'm also in the process of remodeling the m4 and also made the AKM for ds8's goldeneye mod

Cut the polygon count on the barrels. And I'd suggest remodeling the(I know nothing of weaponry terminology) area on top of the gun, in front of the clip, seems a bit messy.

they look kinda wierd cause there's 2 or 3 objects overlapping in the wire view (bolt, fire mode, and the gun it's self) as for the barrels, yea one of the mistakes i made was using 18 sides -_- i'll fix that though

I know that he modeled that becasue he showed me pictures of it when he just started it and when he was in the middle of it.

Caboose that looks very detailed, I like it.

The "AKM's" folding stock is wrong. First of all, it's not an AMK, it's an AKMS/AK-47S. The AK-47S (the folding stock model) has two bars connecting to each side of the butt of the weapon. And it's not a solid object at the end, it's actually more similar to one bent metal bar from end to end.

Nice models though, just fix that stock.

actually i believe there's 2 kinds of stocks, i have seen them with the single bar. i only made that one because i got lazy. if you really think it'd look better then i'll model the other stock. i don't really know that much about the AK family besides the 47

Thats the problem I have with this model. This is a Goldeneye weapon. Try removing all of the details lol.

goldeneye weapons suck ass why would i want to make one of them...the whole purpose is to go beyond what they were bound by...

Yeah remodel that stock, it should be an easy job and call the gun an AK-47S and you're accurate

Guess I just am picky about my guns is all.

update:
M4A1 completed.

the old m4 for ambush was 6,000 polies and it was a sucky model so i remade that one too. this new m4 is 2,924 polies and has a lot more detail then the older one. : )

any inaccuracies please lemme know so i can fix em
