Aquatica [WIP]

Well, I've been messing around with -DeToX-'s "water in new bsp" thing, and I must say, much credit to him, cuz that stuff is hard. But, I finally got it

So I thought I would share my first BSP/ Water map Conversion. YaY!
Just a couple of machs, some water, new sky, fog, and a custom ltmp. I think it turned out pretty awsome, I just wanted to see what you guys thought. Should I finish it, or toss it in the bin

Very nice - I love the atmosphere. Could turn into something very kewl - Especially with your mad AI Skillz

I will definetly finish this mod as soon as I can get a couple of other projects out of the way.

Do NOT add AI, AI in mods like these always ruin the mod.

For some strange reason I get a warm, fuzzy feeling when I look at this map. It makes me wish I hadn't fry'ed my xbox. Good Job.

Not really. Entity exports BSP meshes as a .obj with UVWs. It's entirely possible. Well..since these are [mach]s, it'd be more of extracting the model, then assembling them into this formation. But still, possible.

looks really really nice, and i would very happily skin this for you, but you have other offers as well so. But anway a little constructive critism, please lower the machs to right on the water, it will just make everything better

EDIT:

i look at the pics closer and i cant tell if the machs are close to the water or not, but i think it would look awsome if the parts of the middle machs were in the water as well as the bottoms of the platforms with pelicans on them (the wing like things)

me loves the water and atmosphere. pretttttty
wrong choice of mach though > similar to sentinelbase. and the other mach where the pelican is on isn't a mach i like.. pelican i dont like either since they tend to lag on systemlink.

Wait a sec. This is a BSP Conversion? It looks like a Mach mod to me. But I love it, deff finish it.

He had to convert a BSP into Gemini so he could add the water to a bigger BSP, which is Gemini.

It looks pretty good, but looks way to small for pelicans, only if they are in there for dogfights.
